1. Who we are
Byteremix Maps ("we", "us", "our") is a service operated by Hassan Nawaz, a sole proprietor based in Pakistan. If you have questions about these terms, contact us at hassan@byteremix.com.
2. The service
Byteremix Maps lets you import or manually add location data and publish it as an interactive, filterable map that you can share as a standalone page or embed on your own site. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be legally able to enter into a contract to use the service. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Byteremix Maps offers a free plan and paid plans billed monthly or yearly. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, provides all customer service inquiries related to billing, and handles returns.
Prices are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change plan pricing going forward; existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate until you change or cancel your plan. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Byteremix Maps to:
- Host or publish content that's illegal, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute the service itself outside of your normal use of your own maps
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
6. Your data
You own the data you import or create in Byteremix Maps. We process it only to provide the service to you (storing it, rendering your maps, running the filters you configure). You can export or delete your maps and data at any time from your dashboard.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend access to your dashboard or your public map pages if your account is in breach of these terms or if payment for a paid plan isn't successfully collected. Non-payment alone doesn't automatically delete your data - your maps stay intact while your public pages are paused, so you can pay and resume at any time. Accounts left unpaid for an extended period may eventually be deleted at our discretion. You can cancel your account at any time.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Byteremix Maps is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
